The mothers and female guardians of our children have the opportunity to put together a business plan, and seek a 6-month loan to start a small business. Once they are accepted, we invite them to a day long course with to go over their business plan and ensure they can pay back their loan. We work with the local municipalities and a lawyer to create a contract with each woman. Loans start at $150 and range to $500. Upon successful payback women can double or even triple their loan amount. The interest from these loans goes into a pool that continues to build and fund the loans for other women.
